I believe living a healthy lifestyle begins with maintaining a strong mind and body.

I first discovered Pilates in 2017 after a minor injury sidelined me from my traditional fitness routines. Determined to find something to keep me fit, I decided to try a mat class in my local area given by Master Instructor LaBriece Ochsner and was immediately hooked! I could feel my muscles, core and spine lengthen and felt an inch taller after each class. Multiple mat classes and personal training sessions later it led me to the decision to deepen my Pilates education where it all began - LB Pilates Studios in Biel.

My aim is to help you identify your fitness goals and to design an exercise program that fits your needs whether its  to gain strength, restore mobility/flexibility due to injury or to diversify your fitness routine.

My holistic approach and positive attitude to fitness and health will have you feeling great and seeing results in no time.

Incorporating the fundamentals of Pilates, this class follows the classical Beginner/Intermediate mat order, and is appropriate for all students.  While Intermediate level exercises may be introduced, modifications are always provided.  Although Pilates equipment is not utilized during mat classes, small exercise props such as Magic Circles, weights, bands and balls are often utilized to engage specific muscle groups and assist with body positioning.

The word Bodhi is derived from a Sanskrit word meaning “to awaken”. The Bodhi Suspension System “awakens” the body by stimulating many of the body’s deep support systems simultaneously. Using 1, 2, 3, or 4 suspension points challenges the body to work with gravity in new and unusual ways. Taking the body out of alignment with gravity fires the core stability muscles and develops integrated, whole-body strength, greater control, and dynamic flexibility.

More than just your standard Pilates class, Reformer sessions will take your body to a whole new level. Traditional Pilates form is coupled with high-intensity exercises that will lengthen, define and reshape your muscles. An interval training experience that stokes the metabolism and improves stamina while developing balance and core strength.
